Parents, 
        I just wanted to write you a quick note and let you know about some exciting things that are happening here at CCA.  We just finished our accreditation review with the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS) and the executive director was very pleased with how much progress our school has made during the last two years even in spite of a recession.  Praise God for that!   

Also I would like to announce that over the summer we will be developing a comprehensive Honors program that will allow us to offer honor classes in the 6^th -12^th grades.  This will allow our brightest students to raise their GPA and have more opportunities for scholarships and college admissions.  We will be releasing the classes offered by July so please wait until then to inquire about them.  

SAT testing will begin next week so please make sure your students eat a good breakfast and get a good night’s sleep.  This is the primary tool we use to evaluate our students progress and readiness for the next grade.  On April 1^st after 3 days of testing we will have elementary field day to give our students a much needed break from their hard work.  Also on this day we will have a home Varsity baseball game against Morningside at 1pm.  Our school will assemble for this once a year in school game to support our team.  They are doing very well this year with a record of 7-1.  Parent’s are encouraged and invited to come and show your school spirit as well! 
            Don’t forget there will be no school next Friday the 2^nd in observance of Good Friday, and     
then….Spring Break April 5^th -9^th!
